Remax Head Shot.

Remax is a real estate agent located in Beenleigh. Karen Murphy from the Beenleigh branch is a member of my local BNI group and when someone in the office needed some photos for there business cards and promotional material, Karen knew exactly where to send them.

Marlee Building Inspections

Lee is the owner and operator of Marlee Building Inspections and a member of my BNI group. This following series of photos would look pretty odd if you didn't know what it was for, the green back drop is a selectable background colour like they use in superman to make him fly, what that lets you do, is select and remove it, then you can add the backdrop/photo of your choice.

The image gives you a idea of what can be done very easily with the right software.

Bathroom Renovations

I was asked to photograph some recently renovated bathrooms for Brisbane Bathroom Renovations PL

The company is based on the north side and specializes in full bathroom renovations and has a very high standard of workmanship, and wanted images for there website and promotional material.

A picture of my picture of a Ferrari.

The images for this print were shot at Lake side earlier this month on a race day organized by The Racing Room. This was a computation image that i put together for Malcolm the owner of the Ferrari, the picture is a Framed 30 x 40 Inch print and is hanging in his garage. Malcolm was nice enough to send me the image below.

Thanks Malcolm.

Nicola's Family Shoot

Nicola is a member of the BNI group that i have joined and wanted some family photographs, Nicola runs My Home Cleaning Services and does domestic cleaning.

As they live in Shailer Park we decided to meet at Alexandra Clark Park In Loganolme. The rain held off while we were there and the sun popped out a couple of times too.

The kids were pretty excited and were very keen to do anything i asked them to do, I had them jumping off tables and playing on the swings and in the playground. Justin (Nicolas partner) has a rather unique way of carrying the youngest addition to the family, i cant see him doing it when he is 2 years old.

It was a really fun shoot and i got some really nice casual images of the family.

Lauren got her birthday present

I did a family shoot a few months ago for Jeanette Scott and after all the family photos i did a few shots of the individual family members and partners and of course, the new grand daughter. (see January blog entry)

When Laurens birthday was coming up her mother decided to get her an enlargement of one of the images i had taken as a gift. We talked about it and decided to have the enlargement printed on canvas. Lauren had no idea that she was getting it and was really pleased. I liked the picture so much that i printed one for the studio window.

Jeanette was kind enough to take some pictures for me to post on my blog, this is a couple of photos of Lauren receiving the picture on her birthday.

Lauren pretending she was a twin and posing with the picture.

Happy Birthday Lauren.

Michelle and Dave

I met Michelle through the BNI group and she asked me to do some photos for her and Dave. We met at the studio then decided to go to Alexander Clark Park in Loganholme. I love shooting in this park, i used to live just up the road and walked the dogs there every day. It was a really nice afternoon so we just took a stroll around and stopped when ever the light looked good.

The object is to be able to refer business to other group members. We have a varied collection of people within our chapter from car mechanics to building inspectors and hairdressers.

Sound system that cost more than my house...

I photographed a house that had the most amazing sound system in it, the room was set up just to listen to music in, the quality of sound and clarity of the music is like nothing I have ever heard of before, tracks that I have known for years sounded so different, more instruments clearer sound, it was like a whole different recording. The speakers were from Wilson Audio and wow were they loud.

Apparently the best quality to listens to is still black vinyl records, old School style but, the best quality Old school. The record deck is hand made and and has 4 compressors that make it float on a blanket of air, this helps to remove any chance of records jumping or skipping, they have a machine that cleans the records and uses a static free vacuum chamber, I remember using my shirt to clean mine. As you can see from the pictures below, he has a stack of amps that AC/DC would be envious of.

The sound was so clear that the volume wasn't apparent till you tried to talk to someone standing next to you... you basically couldn't. When the owners listens to music they sit in the middle of the room on the chairs placed their just for listening to the sound system, its very important that you are just in the right place to get the full potential of the sound. I can see why you would buy something that good if you could afford it, it is truly, Amazing...
