Trash is not always rubbish

Brisbane Courier Mail, Page 47, Wednesday 28th May 2008.

The following article appeared in the Brisbane Courier Mail today and talks about the new photography trend called "Trash the dress" if you are a regular reader of my blog you will already know that i have been excited about this concept for the last 6 months. I was contacted by Paddy from the Brisbane Courier Mail and interviewed about this new trend, they then interviewed 2 of the brides that i have photographed, it's a coincidence that the PMA is currently setting up in Brisbane, this is the largest photographic show in the country and is in Brisbane every 4 years, the article is at the end of the section promoting the show.

Sharon and her Arabian Horse

Sharon is a long distance endurance horse rider, she rescued this horse in a very bad state and has spent time and love getting him into this condition. Her husband Mike has asked me to photograph Sharon and the horse as a gift for their 35th wedding anniversary.

Congratulations.

Lakeside 19.5

Another warm sunny day at Queensland's Lakeside International raceway, the track is very unforgiving with little or no gravel run off, as one of the Porsche owner's found out when he blew a tyre and slid off into the tyre wall.

I was lucky enough to have a couple of laps as a passenger in a GT3 RS Porsche and we clocked a 1.05 sec lap, the lap record is 58 sec. The cars are just amazing, the speed and grip is difficult to describe... Truly amazing.
