I have just come back from 4 days of a pretty intensive workshop with some of the people that have influenced my photography in the last few years. Wayne Radford. Marcus Bell, Rob Hayman, Greg Dries, Kelly Munce, & Yervant.
About 120 photographers form all over the state and some as far away as Perth, hung off of every word from the great list of speakers. The speakers did not hold back, some of the information is priceless and i will implement immediately into my business. Cant wait for August Exposure 2009.

Logan Cable Ski
On the way back from dropping my daughter at a birthday party i decided to check out Logan Cable Ski located at Carbrook.
I have driven past this place many times but never dropped in. There were a few people using the cable ski & doing some jumps, so i grabbed my camera out of the car and shot off a few frames.
Hope you like them.

5 Generations of one family
It was my pleasure to photograph 5 generations of one family, all female. This was the first time i have had so many generations in my studio, and i suspect it wont happen too often. There was the Great grandmother, grandmother, mother, daughter, granddaughter. They are a lovely family and it was a fun shoot.

Adam & Susan
Adam and Susan are getting married on the 6th of September and came today to have there pre-wedding photos done. Adam & Susan have been together for 10 years and have 4 kids that will also be part of the wedding party, I must not forget the jelly bean bribes that day. They will pick one of the many images, I will then print and frame the image for people at there reception to sign as pert of the package they chose.
Ok...I do like to shoot against this wall..Its close and its cool and I am sure I will get over it soon..
Pull a funny face and I Will take your photo, and then I will sell it back to you when your 18 at a really high price so your parents cant use it to embarrass you at your party.

Specsavers Store Opening at Northlakes
This was my second store opening for Specsavers that I have done in Queensland . The new store was at Northlakes shopping center. Specsavers are great supporters of Guide Dogs Queensland They always have a couple of the puppies in training at the stores, then they match all donations received during the promotion $ for $.

My first wedding as a second shooter
On Saturday I attended a wedding with Tammy from Barefoot Fotos Its the first time i have ever been to a wedding and not been the main shooter. Avid readers of my blog will remember Tammy from my first Trash The Dress shoot. Tammy was inspired by her own wedding photographer to become a wedding photographer. This was her first wedding and I went along to help out and calm her nerves a little. She did really well and i am sure Roberta & Don will be really pleased with the images.
This is a small selection of the images i shot..
Tammy getting a different view of the situation
Photography is not as easy as you think it is...Some times you have to squash you nose right into your camera..
Arrr ...The first kiss
Toby's Eyes are amazing...This is there real colour.

The boys being boys
Thirsty work this wedding thing...
I told Roberta i wanted her daughter to be flower girl at all my weddings...
So cute and really well behaved.
Loved the colours Roberta picked for the room...Same as my corporate colours.
