I really liked these tattoos when i saw them so i had to get a couple of shot... It wasn't what i was there to do, but you cant miss a opportunity like this.
I first met Kirsten & Kevin at a bridal show last year and have been looking forward to shooting there wedding ever since. They are such a good looking couple that its such a joy to shoot them, Kevin is a bit camera shy but Kirsten makes up for his shyness.
The whole wedding was at Tambourine Gardens so it was nice and easy with no traveling once we arrived at the Brides.
The cottages and gardens are lovely, i shot my first wedding there nearly 10 years ago when the chapel had only just opened and i must say the owners have done a fantastic job converting it to a wonderful wedding location.
Congratulations and thank you for choosing me to photograph your special day, it was truly wonderful.
Robbie and Rachel are from Brisbane but decided to get married in Port Douglas as the had been there before and loved the location. I must admit that it was an amazing location to get married,(apart from the humidity) The chapel was right on the shore line and a really lovely building. After the service we went to a couple of locations with the bridal party and videographer.
This is a very small selection of the images captured on the day. I was very honored to be asked to photograph this wedding at such a wonderful location.
I wish them both all the best for there future, if the rest of there lives are as wonderful as there wedding day they are going to grow old very happy people.
Belinda & Anthony were married at Mt Tambourine Rain Forest Gardens, the weather did its normal thing and threatened rain but held off for the photos, so i still have my record in tact.
Anthony and his best man, & family come to that are all joker. they love to pull faces, joke and generally mess around, this makes for a very relaxing atmosphere. It was a very fun and relaxing & fun wedding.
I have been into photography for virtually all my life. One of my earliest memories is of my Dad setting up a studio in the lounge to take photos of me and my sister then making the kitchen into a dark room and printing till the early hours of the morning. He had a passion for photography the same way I do now. My dad gave me a camera and one lens for my 13th Birthday, after I showed him my first roll of film, he told me I had a talent for it. The whole of my working life has been consumed with the capture of image I have a wealth of experience in all types of photography, I have worked in Europe, America, Asia, The South pacific and Australia. I spent a few years traveling the world working as a photographer on cruise ships.I have shot weddings all over the world. Photographed postcards for the Gold coast and Vanuatu. The last 8 years i was working for Canon supporting professional photographers, retailers and news papers. Now it is time to use all that knowledge for my own business... I have opened my own studio and Gallery. My aim is to be the local contact for all photographic related business.
