Alan & Bec were married at Mt Cotton Rain Forrest Gardens . I thought that it was the day that my 30 year record of never doing a wedding in the rain was going to be broken. Just as Rebbecca arrived at the gardens so did the rain, the service was held under a pagoda that is usually to keep the sun of the guests. The moment that the celebrant declared them "Man & Wife" the rain stopped and the sky started to clear. My record was safe for another week and we went out into the gardens to get our photos.
I would like to thank "Cowboy" (John, the best man) for letting Bec use his house to get ready and have some photos taken, like a true Aussie cowboy the shed had been converted into a bar and was a very cool location to get some photos. Thanks.
Cowboy was just trying to talk Alan out of getting married, lucky it didnt work.
Alan was a little paranoid about being late, so we had a practice run at arriving at the service should there be a delay. As it turned out he was 30 mins early.
Bec looking stunning...
A quiet moment between Dad & Daughter.
Cowboys Bar.
I know "Cowboy" was best man but i think making Alan take the ring from his mouth was a little "Broke back mountain". If his wife wasn't one of the bridesmaids i would be a little worried.
The fantastic cake
The first dance.
